The effect

A spectator signs a card and a coin. The coin vanishes and appears on the signed card in the deck. Juman Sarma's Signum teaches a gimmick that can be made quickly.

The spectator can shuffle the deck. The card box has no slits or cuts. Two versions are taught: a gimmicked version and an impromptu version. The gimmick can be made in 30 seconds, the effect is instantly repeatable, and everything can be examined.
