Hanson Chien Presents Eye Candy by Eric Ross

Stock status: In stock

Eye Candy by Eric Ross, produced by Hanson Chien, is a modern close-up treatment of the bizarre "object to eye" plot. A borrowed Tic Tac is placed in the performer's mouth and then appears to travel through the inside of the face before reaching the eye socket.

The effect

The spectator can follow the Tic Tac as it apparently moves through the face and can even feel the lump moving. The routine can finish with the Tic Tac being eaten. The effect is designed for close-up and walk-around performance and can be performed surrounded.

Practical performance

Eye Candy is designed to take up very little pocket space, with a setup time of less than 30 seconds. The gimmick is reusable, and the only consumables required are ordinary Tic Tacs used during performance. Real Tic Tacs are not supplied. A dedicated carrying case is included to protect the gimmick and assist with setup.

Safety and tuition

According to the supplied product material, the gimmick is made from food-safe, medical-grade materials and has been developed with safety as a central consideration. The full tutorial should be studied carefully before performing. More than 40 minutes of teaching is included from Sean Chou, Poker Chen and Eric Ross, covering safety notes, performance advice, live performances and studio walkthroughs. Additional guidance is also included for performers who wear contact lenses.
