Omni Butterfly by Hyde Ren & Bacon Magic adds a second visual surprise to the classic Omni Deck finale. The entire deck transforms into a crystal-clear acrylic block – but when the spectator takes a closer look, they discover a butterfly inside.

From Playing Cards to Crystal

Many card magicians will be familiar with the classic Omni Deck climax, where an entire deck apparently transforms into a solid transparent block. Omni Butterfly takes that familiar transformation one step further.

First, the spectator experiences the disappearance of the cards and the appearance of the clear block. Then comes the second discovery: there is a butterfly inside the crystal.

This creates a natural two-stage revelation – first the transformation itself, followed by the unexpected discovery within the block.

Use It With Your Existing Card Routines

Omni Butterfly is designed for poker-sized playing cards, including standard Bicycle-size decks. If you already perform an Omni Deck routine, Omni Butterfly can become the final destination of your existing card transformation without requiring an entirely new routine.

For an even stronger visual connection, it can be paired with a butterfly-themed deck such as Butterfly Playing Cards or What the Fly.

Inspired by Amber

The concept takes its inspiration from amber and its remarkable ability to preserve insects and other forms of life. Hyde Ren, together with Bacon Magic, brings that visual idea into card magic: a deck of playing cards transforms into a transparent block with a butterfly apparently preserved inside the crystal.

A plastic butterfly model is included. The acrylic block is intentionally supplied unsealed, allowing you to replace the plastic model with a locally sourced real butterfly specimen if desired. A real specimen is not included due to international shipping restrictions.

A Display Piece Too

Omni Butterfly is designed to work as more than a performance prop. The transparent acrylic block and butterfly also make it suitable for display on a desk, shelf or in a display cabinet.
