Gone Ring by Vladimir Zhukov x HIDE turns an ordinary-looking Bicycle card box into the setting for a direct and impossible vanish. A spectator's borrowed ring is placed inside the box. They can clearly hear it moving around – then, moments later, the ring is gone.

The Effect

The spectator's ring goes into the card box and the box is closed. They shake it and can clearly hear the ring moving inside. They shake it again and hear nothing. The ring has vanished.

What makes Gone Ring particularly deceptive is how natural everything appears. There is no unusual-looking prop to introduce and no complicated procedure to justify. It simply looks like a regular Bicycle card box, making the disappearance feel even more impossible.
