Mind Reading Slate by UDAY is a classic mentalism effect in which an apparently blank slate ultimately reveals a playing card chosen by a spectator. Also known as a Spirit Slate, it fits naturally into mind-reading and spirit-themed presentations.

The effect

The slate is shown blank on both sides and placed inside an empty envelope. A spectator then selects a card from a full deck. When the slate is removed from the envelope, the chosen card is found written on it.

Performance

The plot is direct and easy for an audience to follow, making it suitable for a wide range of shows. The physical revelation on the slate gives the routine a clear and visual finish.
