HOODOO - Haunted Voodoo Doll HOODOO - Haunted Voodoo Doll is a creepy and visually striking magic effect in which a small voodoo doll appears to come alive and rise completely by itself.Ask your spectator to think of someone they dislike and explain that you can use black magic to seek revenge. Any initial laughter soon disappears as you introduce a mysterious coffin box containing a bizarre voodoo doll. The spectator is invited to examine the strange artifact before you place it flat on your hand. The spectator imagines something bad happening to their chosen victim and then pushes a wooden pin directly into the doll's heart to begin the dark ritual.

The effect and experience

Then the impossible happens. Under the spectator's outstretched hand, the voodoo doll slowly begins to rise completely on its own until it stands upright, staring directly at them. There are no visible wires, threads or magnets. The secret is so devious that spectators may genuinely feel as though they have witnessed real black magic.

Performance possibilities

You can even place a glass over the doll to apparently isolate it completely. With some practice and a steady hand, you can also make the doll stand on one leg before having the spectator blow it over to complete the curse.
