The effect

Paint It Blank by John Bannon begins with a spectator merely thinking of any playing card. You apparently remove that invisible card from the deck and slide it between two face-up jokers. A real blank card appears between them.

The revelation

While the blank card is in the spectator's hands, its face prints itself and becomes the card they were thinking of. The revealed card can be examined, and you finish reset with an ordinary deck.

Handling and requirements

The routine uses a regular, shuffled Bicycle deck and one special gaff card. It requires no sleight of hand, stack, force, equivoque or table.
