The effect

Comedy Glass in Paper Cone by Bazar de Magia is a comic routine in which you seem unable to remember the correct instructions. You make a paper cone, put a glass inside, then change your mind and remove it.

The apparent mistake

You pour water into the cone before realising that the glass should have been inside. Put the glass back, then slowly open the paper: the cone is dry, and the water is now in the glass. The repeated hesitation sets up the final magical correction.

Construction and routines

The large glass is made from very clear, heavy plastic. The trick is supplied complete and ready to perform, with a second comedy routine involving an assistant or clown. It is easy to perform and suited to children's and family shows.
